This is just on my player and in my mind: Bagman!!

Up next, is a Vacant Brain fest and while I'm retransferring all of the other reviews to format HERE, clusterfuck doesn't even begin to describe it, check out Bagman (UK PE awesomeness out on tape format on Crucial Blast). I'm currently listening to In their Blood and From the Gutter, but all three casseattes are essential listening as this guy does some crazy shit with layering that is difficult to describe in words, but he does this stuff so flawlessly, like Ramleh/Kleistwahr (Mundy and company) do their psychedelic PE drone work...there's an elegance to it. It's all in the feel, the composition, the layers and textures that really define the work. A must hear and I will post some clips to give you an idea of what it entails. In spots it begins to venture into early Whitehouse/Sutcliffe Jugend to me and then is completely derailed...can't really explain but you will KNOW it when you hear it. Can't say enough about the genius behind this, great pre Xmas score here for me.

Not in bed with the label but over the decades he's put out some incredible stuff (including Ramleh/SJ/Gnaw Their Tongues/TOMB and so on) I am on the bandcamp/label mailchimp yada yada and have not gotten around to listening to the new output (mood swings in terms of musical taste, just ended brilliantly with Bagman and am teetering towards Lycia/Autumns Gray Solace...or even newer Rapoon , what a 180 that is).  And now my other cat MAX is into shit and causing a stir...fucking animals (laughs).
